BitFontCreator is a professional bitmap font creator tool for your embedded project, which helps you create monochrome (1-bpp) bitmap fonts and antialiased (2-bpp and 4-bpp) bitmap fonts for graphical LCD / LED. It just import the font installed on your Windows PC and create a C file representing that font. The C file includes jump tables and bitmap data of all characters. Font Converter is a Windows program which allows convenient converting of any PC installed font into an emWin (bitmap) font that can be easily integrated into emWin based applications. It automatically displays the Font generation options dialog box and it allows you to select the output font and the Unicode format. In version 2.0 of the ProFont distribution, Carl provided an ISOLatin1 encoded version of ProFont. The shapes of several of the characters have been modified for improved readability, and a 7 pt bitmap version of ProFont is included. In version 2.2 of the ProFont distribution, Carl produced a version of ProFont that uses the Windows character set. I ripped this font from text file a while ago, so apologies to the uncredited author. What does it generate? For font generation, three entities are generated. The character bitmap array: This holds the actual characters as a bitmap (only the characters selected in the input pane). Each byte represents a single vertical page sent to the LCD.

Use BitFonter with FontLab VI, TransType, FontLab Pad
BitFonter isn’t limited to black-and-white! With the Photofont intermediate format and the new Color OpenType font format extensions, you can create full-color fonts with transparency, and use them on the web and in print! Imagine computer letters with true calligraphic expression, visible brush strokes and paper structure — a new dimension in the field of typography.
To create Color OpenType fonts, export the font as Photofont PHF, then open the PHF file in TransType or FontLab VI, and export a Color OpenType font in the SVG, sbix or CBDT flavor. Finally, use the Color OpenType font in Adobe CC apps, web browsers or in our free FontLab Pad app!
You can also export a color bitmap font into a monochrome Outline Pixelfont: BitFonter will halftone your pixels using vector squares, circles, lines or luminance-based shapes, and export outline-based VFB font that you can open in FontLab VI, Fontographer or TypeTool to produce a final monochrome OpenType font that approximates your bitmap design with scalable outlines. To achieve this, turn on Tools > Options > Outline Font Editor, turn on Export outline font into VFB file, and choose Font > Export > Outline Font or Outline Pixelfont.
